Garry Daw: Seismic Data Manager
Garry began his professional career in 1989 as a Field Geophysicist with GSI. He continued with Haliburton Geophysical Services seconded to the Saudi Aramco processing centre in Dhahran processing land data. In 1994 he became a consultant geophysicist specialising in data QC and reprocessing both land and marine seismic, working for Total, Fugro, Sasol and Cogniseis. He took the position of Chief On-board Processor for Fugro in 2006 and remained in that position after the CGG takeover.
Chris Eastment: G&G Data and Records Consultant
Chis is a technical, ‘hands-on’ Geoscience Data and Records Manager with 35 years of experience, both as Staff & Consultant. Specialist in well, seismic, exploration, appraisal, development, production, reservoir and drilling operational data, PON9 obligations, data release, licence rounds, offsite storage, tape transcription, data preservation, core & fluid sample storage, rationalisation & disposal; within Multi-National, Independents, Start-ups, Service Companies, NDA’s, NHDA, BGS and many other Agencies in UK and Internationally.

Phil Wild: Technical Director
After focusing much of his career developing analytical software aimed at the latter stages of seismic data processing and interpretation, Phil is now working with MOD on data formats.
With a PhD in Image Processing, he has written seismic and navigation software for Land, Marine and OBS acquisitions, as well as processing data, on behalf of clients such as Ikon Science, Concept Systems, CGG, ENI, Pemex, Petronas, Hess, BP and Statoil.
Phil is a member of the Technical Standards Committee for the SEG.
Mathew Kelley: Navigation Manager
Mat has been working as a Client Representative Navigation Specialist since 1998 for various oil companies, mainly: Shell, BP, Exxon-Mobil, Total and Statoil.
He is especially experienced in 3D and 4D towed streamer and OBC surveys.
Before becoming a Client Rep he was Chief Navigation Processor onboard MV Jonathan Chouest shooting OBS in various parts of the world.
Mat has also been involved with transition zone surveys, utilising small source vessels, vibrators and dynamite.
Jon Willington: Operations Manager Worldwide
Jon also has amounted in excess of 25 years seismic data acquisition, QC and processing experience at chief and survey management level. Jon's exploits in geophysics have tended more towards Land Data environments with long spells in USA, Yemen, Saudi Arabia & Algeria.
He has been employed as a Consultant Geophysicist, both in the field and office, by clients including: BHP Billiton, BP, Cairn Energy & Exxon-Mobil.
Darren McDonald: Managing Director
In excess of 25 years seismic data acquisition, QC and processing experience at chief and survey management level. Expert in both Towed Streamer and Ocean Bottom Cable acquisition, Darren has represented several worldwide industry leading seismic acquisition and processing companies as Chief Geophysicist.

Martin Hodge: Data Processing Consultant
With a specialist understanding of processing, quality assurance and QC procedures for 2D and 3D seismic data, Martin has over 40 years’ experience in the industry. After working for Western Geophysical for 18 years he joined Spectrum where he introduced QA/QC procedures with SeisUp software to the work practice. Martin recently spent 5 years at Geokinetics as a data processing and business development geophysicist, processing 2D and 3D marine seismic datasets with expertise in interpolation and PSTM, whilst improving processing QC procedures using attributes and statistical analysis
Ronny Tømmerbakke: Area Manager Norway
After obtaining his Masters Degree in Reservoir Geophysics from the University of Bergen, Ronny began his career journey as an Observer for Multiwave Geophysical in 2002.
He subsequently progressed through the ranks of field geophysicist positions to becoming Geophysical Advisor for CGG, supporting offshore personnel regarding software, hardware and processing related matters.
He spent the last 2.5 years as Quality & Performance manager for CGG, in charge of recruitment & planning for offshore personnel, writing & maintaining seismic data QC procedures and liasing with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction.
David Fursman: Geophysical Advisor Australia
Dave graduated from the University of Birmingham with a M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics in 1983. He was the Centre Manager for PGS Kazakhstan for almost 4 years. Prior to this he was the Data Manager for WesternGeco and Western Geophysical for the Asia Pacific region. Most recently he worked for TGS in Perth where he was the data processing QC and data management advisor. His areas of expertise include all aspects of seismic data management, project management and data processing (2D and 3D, time and depth, land and marine).
